Imperial Guard
The Imperial Guard is a service branch of the Haradian Armed Forces. The primary function of the Imperial Guard is to protect the Shah. Over time the Imperial Guard has evolved from a small body of household troops based in the capital, to a much larger organisation. The Imperial Guard is seen as being more loyal to the Shah, and receives better pay, conditions, training, and equipment.
